    Boomzbox Sleep/Hibernate issues

Okay so I've tried everything to make the Boomzbox resume properly after a hybrid sleep resume and hibernate resume. I can hear the clicking noise that the radio makes when Centrafuse loads back up but the radio just wont initilize. Everything appears to be working as it should but there is no sound. I can change stations and the HD signal flashes as it should when trying to lock on to the signal. I don't hear the audio cutting in and out when it first initilizes when Centrafuse loads from a cold boot. When i exit Centrafuse after resuming from hybrid sleep to load the Boomzbox HD software, the software doesn't recognize the COM port even though it's set to the correct port. I have delay on resume set to three seconds under general settings and the radio set to six seconds delay. I'm running the 3.1.3 version of the boomzbox software and all the latest drivers. I've ran the "setcorrect" script settings so I think everything is the way it should be. I have no idea what the problem could be. I'm running Windows 7 64 bit with CF3.1. The Boomzbox usb cable is plugged into the front of my mo-co-so carputer (Motherboard is a Jetway NF93). 12v power is supplied from the PSU via floppy disk connector. Everything is hooked up correctly.

This is the error that the Boomzbox HD software gives me when it tries to locate the radio after resuming from sleep or hibernation and the radio doesn't work. I get the same error after a cold boot but the radio still works:

To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this

    For example:

    <configuration>

Try it with a powered USB hub plugged into a wall outlet. Stop the car, let it hibernate with Boomzbox plugged into the powered hub. Restart the car and see if it finds the Boomzbox.

If it does, your problem is with a resume on hibernation for the USB ports rather than the Boomzbox.

Novak, i think you got two different issue here

with CF, im not sure... but what bugbyte suggests might be good

the boomzbox HD software, has nothing to do with Centrafuse
the error you posted, has to do with AUDIO... which is possible thie usb devices hasnt come back into system

PLUG the boomzbox HD usb interface into a native USB port, not a HUB

    mitch
    -Thanks

It's not plugged into a hub and is plugged into the main panel on the motherboard. Could it be an onboard audio problem? I'm wondering if I should add a PCI sound card since the mo-co-so case that I use supports it. What are the benefits to using a PCI card?

    ok, thats good...

i dont think its a on-board audio issue
but its acting like at the time of resume, the usb device isnt there
    when you resume...

im not familiar with "hybrid sleep resume and hibernate resume"

i use windows7, and i have done "regular" i guess resume... and never had any issues
in boomzbox hd software, when it detects going into hibernation, it stops audio and shuts off radio...
when it comes back (resume), it powers on radio , and starts audio
the exception you got there, looks like the audio device is missing (the one internal to the boomzbox HD interface)... maybe we need a slight delay... for hardware to settle... i can add that in and you test
    -Thanks

Was there a resolution to this? I am having the same issue. Boomzbox is connected directly to the motherboard via usb full shutdown reboot it works fine, but hibernate/resume it just clicks alot and can not initialize. Running a zotac nvidia atom board on win7 32bit centrafuse 3.1.

    ---Update---

Running windows xp now since realtek win7 drivers suck. This resolved alot of audio issues. Granted xp was harder to setup and config because I needed to align my ssd and turn off certain things and boomzbox centrafuse xp issues (fix by the way is to edit the cf config.xml and change a -1 to 1 for radio input), but in the end its running much better then win7 build ever did.

#1 issue with resume is wiring of the power to the radio, people seem to use ignition, the radio must have power when the pc has power... nothing wrong
with wiring the power to constant.. the pc controls if the radio is on or off

    Boomzbox/bluesoleil bluetooth

I have problems with the boomzbox hd after I had installed bluesoleil bluetooth. Before I had installed bluesolei, there was no problem with the boomzbox (occasionally needed to restart the pc after hibernation inorder to make it work). After I installed bluesoleil boomzbox hd had stopped working and it's not being initialized. After I uninstalled bluesoleil, it worked again. Does anyone have the same problem/know how to fix it? I am using windows 7 62bit and bluesoleil version 7.
