"Did you test it in carwings??"
Sun, Come shine my way
May healing waters bury all my pain
Wind, Carry me home
The fabric of reality is tearing apart
The piece of me that died
Will return To live again
hmm.. cheers thanks for that mitch!
So, I think ours are all odd frequencies as well - the main ones I listen to are 92.9, 93.7, 94.5, 96.1- I am assuming it would be ok? Maybe we have even as well - cant think of the top of me head.
I just want to find a 'good' (reliable) tuner for radio on car PC - not overly fussed about the digital extras.
might be worth a trial!
Our AM is 9kHz vs USA 10kHz.
Our FM pre/de-emphasis is 50usec vs USA 75usec. (Apparently that makes US radios sound harsh in Aus.)
I think other specs are the same (19kHz pilot etc).
Aus Freqs are 526.5kHz - 1605.5kHz (531,540, .......1602kHz) & 88-108MHz (88.1,88.3,........107.9MHz).
thanks for the reply old spark, so maybe not a good idea?
anyone know of any better option of getting radio on CarPC in Australia? One designed for Australia?
cheers
cheers, thanks for that![]()
I have an HQCT-i up for sale as of....now in the classifieds, and I'm in Perth if that helps
Works with aussie frequencies, I just used one of the Directed HD radio's instead, as it worked better with my design than the HQCT-i did.
