Where your last copy of Win7 32bit ?
And are the drivers 64bit? (link to 64bit drivers http://www.usglobalsat.com/download/...usb_driver.zip)
Do you have another computer to try the Globalsat on?
So I recently installed a fresh copy of Win 7 64bit and for some reason my BU-353 keeps showing up as a "Generic USB Hub". It used to work before and I cannot figure out why it's not working. I've installed the drivers and uninstalled them many times. When I plug the GPS into the motherboard, the computer doesn't recognize it as a COM device and doesn't assign it a com port. The device is listed as a Generic USB Hub. I have no clue.
have the same problem.... would love to find some answers
also in the notes for that allinone driver it says
" NOTE: For Windows 7, please use RC build 7100 or above."
What does that mean?
If you in the search field on the start menu type "system information", and enter.
The first page you will be presented with displays your sysinfo inkluding version info.
The Version field should be above 7100, and would be if you run a legal copy of win7 (not saying that your not, but if your version is 7100 or less, you run a hacked and outdated system, since the RCs ran out on time).
