Thread: SD stopped loading

SD 1.1.1.6 was "working" fine (and by working, I mean, it at least loaded consistently and aside from the plethora of other bugs, it at least functioned). I have NOT installed ANYTHING. And I mean NO-THING. No new mp3s. No new digital mods. Not even any M$ updates. NOTHING. Then about a month or so ago, I started noticing that SD would not complete a load when I started the G4. Then it would **** the bed, and the little tray icon thingy would catch it and ask me if I wanted to restart. OR the other scenario I notice (and I think they're the same, but depending on if SD was stopped or suspended) would be that SD starts "fine", but then when I go to "MUSIC" it exhibits this behavior. All other modules seem to work fine. This is particularly annoying, because SD's whole purpose in life is to play mp3s for the most part. And now, for some unknown reason, it just decided this is a problem for it. I'd say I have a 1:4 chance of it starting and working at this point. I notice that if it does start, and I press the "MUSIC" button, and let's assume that it does actually complete and get me to the screen with all the horizontal buttons (that should really be two columns of buttons, but that's another issue all together), well, that whole process takes a VERY long time. Like something is spinning. Or I assume the CPU is just pegged and so whatever its trying to do, it can't -- hence the delay (or crash).
