I don't believe the AiNet stuff is RCA on any end. It's a special plug.
im only asking cuz this is the Ai-Net cable that i needed:

With the AV-710 you need to forget the factory drivers completely and run the Envy24 Drivers V143d. This is the key. You plug into channels 7+8 on the card. Go into the driver and set it to high bitrate. There may be a few other small things, but this is the important stuff. I can give you more details if you need them as well as the driver.
the 701 has an aux input that takes rca's, so you won't need an adaptor like that... that would be if you had to provide an input when the only available inputs are ai-net..... these adaptors are what has me belive that there is analog audio signals through the ai-net.... I'm not 100% sure though, but it would appear so just by adaptors such as these...
from what I remember, you don't need any special cable at all, except for the conversion to regular rca's from your soundcard if it uses a 1/8" phono jack..., the aux comes in as regular rca's...
I'm not 100& sure now if the aux input is at the 700 or at the head unit.... come to think of it, it might be at the head unit..... I've got to look again, haven't touched my wiring in over 1.5 years
if the aux is at the headunit, & your head unit takes that behind the head, then you might have issues with the longer runs from back to front, again driving the need for a line driver maybe.... I'll go look at the 700 to see for sure.... if it was optical this wouldn't be an issue, but of course then there are the other issues originally mentioned,...
