That puts you at the limit of the card, can't go with any more.

And that's provided you can completely remap what each output does, not sure on that yet.

Thank you though for breaking it down for me, wasn't sure if it was some akward way of doing it with sound cards.
Also I am not going to find out some crap about 5vRMS balanced and really 2.5 unbalanced right? I wouldn't think so, but I would hate to assume.

Hate to restart this thread, but has anyone tried using a card where they can achieve 2 seperate outputs from 2 seperate programs granted their computer is powerful enough. For instance if I had sound from a movie going to headphones in the backseat and still have mp3's playing up front?

The E-MU interfaces are not very processor friendly. We have an EMU-1820 that sounds amazing, but is slow with anything under 1.5Ghz.

I check back in now and then to update the list so don't worry about it. That is a good question you ask. You might want to post it as a new thread. I wonder if you could do it with an creative labs and the kx drivers. Otherwise you would need a PRO card that maybe you can re-route signals to.

laptop has a 2ghz AMD 3000+ CPU so IM not really worried about cpu power

one benefit, it seems, to this sound card, is that it has mic inputs built in that act as a preamp with phantom power. If you're going to be using True RTA in the car, this means that you don't need to purchase a seperate preamp for your mic and find somewhere to mount it in the car...if you so desire. Me Likey!

Only with ASIO and VST plugins like Frequency allocator, but not by itself.
