Newbie need help wring amp and pc

    Hi,

my current set up is stock HU, 4ch amp, 2 ch amp and 2x12" woofer on armada, everytime when heat goes up or i listen more than 2 hours the sound gets all distored. i'm thinking it's crappy amp (absolute usa) so i'm going to try different amp(4 ch) see if does samething. what can cause this?

the 4 ch amp have 4 input and 2 output, so the output i connect the second amp(for woofer) can this be the probem for over heating?
if i buy other amp which don't have the outputs how can i connect the RCA cables, theres only 4 RCA cables from HU(2 front 2 rear) then how i get the sound for woofer?

    Thanks,

Using the 4-channel amp output to drive the second amp (for the woofer) is not the cause of heat and distortion.

Most quality amps will have a set of outputs, it shouldn't be hard to find a replacement meeting your needs. If, however, you can't find such an amp, then you need to get a set of "Y" adapters and split off either the front or back output from the head unit - one part of the Y goes to the 4-channel, the other part to the sub amp.
