wow, how crazy this thread got. First, reviews are great and everyone ususlly appreciates them. Hell there are all sort os car audio sites that have very good review sections from the community.

Truth is that there is no clear cut "best" speaker out there. Never will be.

    wait here it is.

The best speaker is what performs the way YOU like it. Hell most of my speakers are the DIY type that cost in the neighborhood of CHEAP. And you know what, they sound pretty good...to me. One of my favorite speakers cost me no more then $10 for the pair. I have never once heard anyone say anything bad about them when I competed in SQ contests. It was actually my MBquarts that wer lacking. But you know what, to each his own. It usually more about the install then about the equipment. A poor install can make great equipment sound liek crap and a good and properly excuted install can make a decent set of speakers sound great.

damn, I stand corrected. I really did think it was genious. See, I came out of this thread learning something. At least I didnt type it 'gene yuss' like you've done twice in this thread with other words.

I've never seen someone present such a stack of legitimate qualifications, then try so hard to bastardize them by citing acts of bribery, false claims, and clear bias disguised as objectivity in review, served with such a passionate inferiority complex. I'm sure it happens a lot in the industry, I'm just not sure why someone would want to brag about it. Most engineering societies I know of have a code of ethics.

Just remember, there's always someone with a bigger paycheck, more published scholarly works, more achievement in the given field, etc. If they are valid, Focal, then I respect your achievements from a scholarly perspective, but your ravings here come off like a late-nite snake oil salesman, or a disgruntled teenager. I can understand the neurotic exorcism of one's thoughts on a subject via post on an internet forum, that's what I do...What I can't understand is this insatiable need of yours to belittle others and constant reference to the size of your e-penis. Focal, you ARE capable of offering sound advice and help to others. Please don't offset your ability to do this with hot air and please don't degrade yourself by calling your own word into question.
