Um, is this an LCD or a radio? If its all built into the radio I wouldn't mess with it. Bring it back, tell them that it never worked right and get a new one.
Hey guys, I bought this deck on ebay a few weeks ago and got it last week. I installed it and it worked fine. Today I changed my speakers and then decided to try to deck again to test my new pheonix gold speakers out! Turns out the speakers are fine but my display screen on my deck does not come on anymore. I checked the power cables going to the deck.. they seem fine and I have checked the fuses and those seem fine as well... Everything works exept the screen. The buttons come on and illuminate, I can still change modes but its difficult without seeing anything. What could of caused this? What can I do to fix it? Worst comes to worst I will exchange it buttttt I want to try and solve this myself first. Thanks guys! Please give as much detail and information as possible so this can take less time to solve!

It is very difficult for anyone on this particular forum to diagnose any such problems with said product due to the main fact that this forum is dedicated to the theories and practices of integration of such equiptment that utillizes computer components as a means in alternative to the conventional car audio equiptment. Although, this "Sub-Forum" is titled "Car Audio," on occasion we here do share knowledge on installation practices on general car electronics, it is still geared towards the integration of a funtioning CARPC with the vehicle's audio equiptment.
If you would like to inquire or have the ambition to achieve such a task with a CARPC, then welcome. I hope we can assist you further.
Otherwise you may have better luck searching elsewhere that is not as focused or specific on a particular project such as CARPCs and you could look into other websites that are more generalized in car audio electronics. Other places you can look woud be the Manufacturer of said product and may have assistance through their website, a form of tech support they may provide, and/or a authorized service center.
Here are a few websites that may be of use to you due to the fact that they are general car electronics websites that are not specific to CARPCs:

http://www.termpro.com
http://www.the12volt.com
http://www.talkaudio.co.uk
http://www.caraudiosecurity.com
I'm sure there are many more but this may give you a start. You may even receive a quicker and more knowledgable response of said problem.
Good luck.
