    Not by me I've used it everywhere I deadened - which in my case is everywhere. Makes a big difference. I also used it inside my servers and lined the drawers of my toolbox with it. Can't have too much.

    what do you drive? obviouslly performance isnt a concern with 1000lbs of deadening material...

    '05 Civic Sedan, so performance wasn't an issue to start with . Closer to 150 lbs and about 50 of that is stuff I put in there just to test.

    I've tracked every gallon of gasoline I've ever put into the car and there hasn't been any noticeable decrease in mileage. I drive about as aggresively as you can in a Civic sedan and still get around 30/38, so I'm happy. Really quite and the music sounds sweet - all I could ask of a daily driver.

    eh, my theory is, through a cold air intake on it, and get enough horsepower to make up for the sound deadening.

    Also, much like your theory with the super model, I have a very similar theory. I keep 100+ pounds in reserve for a body of someone I eventually snap and kill. Seeing how this is very illegal and very horrible. I figure my sound deadening can borrow that weight for the time being

    Alternatively, if the...um...cargo...is still making noise, it helps to have the deadening. Especially when you get pulled over.
    I have too much time and too little aggravation in my life, so I built a carPC. ;)

    Most people don't know that butyl sound deadener is MUCH better than duct tape for keeping those nasty screams muted.
