so on the psu, there's 12v, 2 grounds, and 5v. since audigy 2nx uses 5v, can I tap into the psu as same way as to power up the screen?
Since I couldnt find a spare 5v adapter, I was just thinking of cutting the cord before the box and connecting it to the psu.
does ext usb sound cards drain a lot of power? I only have a 90watts to spare.

you could use your PSU to power the audigy as you do the screen. I am not sure of the power draw, but you should be able to work it out from the power adapter that came with the unit, but I think 90w should be enough.
You could use your amp power cable to power your computer, but you may need to upgrade the cable size to carry the extra current to power both the amp and the PSU. You can use a distribution block to split the power cable so you can power both.
