    which is better, 2 channel or 4 channel amp for 2 speakers

    which is better, 2 channel or 4 channel amp for 2 speakers?

    should i get a 2 channel 360 w amp or a 4 channel 560 w amp?
    if i got the 4 channel amp it would be 280 w per speaker for the 2 speakers?

    you need to look at the resistance in each speaker (ohm load) and what the amp can handle.

    Sounds to me like either amp will be overkill for your speakers. I'd think amp quality would be more the question here.
