Thread: NO Sound...no nothing!

Alright, I JUST finished my sub box. I wire it up, and hit the stereo. Sounds great! However, needs some tweaking, so Im playin with my Soundstream Van Gogh VGA 800.5 Amp. Between that and the Pioneer Premier DEH-P680MP HU, I was getting some good sounds. A bit of rattle, but nothing to really complain about. I wasnt going through the computer, it was all HU, I had both doors open, passenger and Driver... So once I got things sound decent, I left the music going and started to close the passenger door. The sound cut off, then came back on. I stopped closing the door and though 'short'. So, I tapped on the wire heading to the passenger speaker, it was very very taunt, so I pulled it a bit to get some slack, I heard scraping, as the wire scraped over bare metal, So my sleaves were cut. Then them music stopped all together.

I pulled the speaker off, and put a megometer on the line, 0.0v. I put it the positive and then ground it to the car, 1.3v. NOW, go back to the amp, and the Sub lines are getting -1.8v. Even though I put the positive meg post on the positive Amp post, and neg to neg. I flipped the cables and still the same.

the other speakers are getting less than 1 volt, except, 2 of them...one is getting 19.3v and the other is getting 23.0v! These are going directly to the speakers from the amp. Power from the battery to the amp is 12.55v, which is what its always been and the remote is 11.3. I did have a ground loop isolator on there, but took it off, no change. So, I have no sound from the HU or computer.

Anyone have any thoughts? Im baffled. PLEASE help...if you need any more info, let me know.
