03 Vibe GT Audio Electrical issues

So, I was having problems with my stereo sending input to my amp. So replace the stereo. That worked. Then, while putting everything back together, I noticed that the 12v wire was loose, so I was putting it back in an *spark*.
No big, happens. I check the fuse, no popped fuse. So, I finish hooking things up (after fixing the wire) and now, no power to my stereo. Figured I MAY have fried the stereo, so I put the old one back in. No power. So, I check ALL the fuses, no popped fuse. I check my manual, and the fuse that has the radio, also has the dome lights, and review window lights. And wouldnt ya know, those dont work either. BUT, NO POPPED FUSES. Anywhere. So, any ideas? Nothing is working, after all this damn work, nothing works.
Please help, I spent a good 5 hours figuring out THIS much...

Even though the fuse may not look popped, it could be.

Did you check it for continuity?
Have you tried replacing it anyway?

If the above doesn't help, you would probably need to trace that wire further down. There's got to be a short somewhere...

Yes, I swapped the fuse with a known good fuse. And, I even upgraded and downgraded the fuse, trying to get somesort of reaction.

Go to matrixowners dot com (I think there is a link on genvibe as well) and download the electrical/wiring manual and start tracing the wire by checking continuity between connection point.
First, check if there is power at the radio's fuse and start from there.

Is there more than one fuse box? There is probably a fuse in the engine compartment as well for the radio. It's a popped fuse. look harder.

Really wanna apoligize for jacking this thread.
Pushed in lighter and held it in as filiment in lighter was going out, in 4 seconds radio powers down to never power up again. Checked ALL fuses under steering column and in trunk department. (did'nt 'ohm' each and every one out; just a visual check) Thought I may have fried the radio so I ordered a stocker replacement from feeBAY, got it, put it in and same results (but was able to get a clock display on "new one" ordered). Figured it was also damaged, contacted seller and he sent another out. Got it put it in and same results. Question: Is there a theft anti-locking system/device that needs to be reset? Any and all help is greatly appreciated and again, apologies for jacking thread. (Newbee cant figure how and where to post new topic.) Theres a potential "new" radio in it for ya

Well I solved my problem. Seems that the "Dome" fuse under the hood controls the "Cig" fuse under the dash. The Cig fuse is the one for the radio, Charging System, and such. So when I replaced the fuse under the hood, fixed the problem.
And as far as jacking my thread, theres no anti-theft stuff that I know about. Sounds like if the clock came on, its getting 12v, or at least SOME volt.
