Mounting a Battery Isolator on a 97 chevy truck

So I bout a sure power 120 amp battery isolator model 782-1768 for my carputer/audio setup. But where the heck is there room to mount it? I have a 97 chevy z71 5.7L V8 Auto 4x4. Ive got my second battery in place and ready to go but cant find a spot for the isolator. Any ideas?

usually theres room on one of the fender well areas, maybe near the air cleaner, maybe on the rad support, there should be room, especially on that truck... just build a cover for it cause a wrench dropped on it can mean bad news...

I thought about a wheel well mount but am afraid to put it that low. If I go off road I dont want to worry about mud or water causing an issue.

I do like the idea of a cover..Good call

not underneith, on top, under the hood, like where the washer tank is or on the right side in front of the ac housing is usually a good spot... your truck is monsterous under the hood

theres gotta be some room, worse case is you may need to make a bracket, you might not be able to just mount it flat & screw it down, I did an escalade & have the isolator mounted in front of the a/c box screwed down flat, worse case there will also be room on the radiator support
