Comments on USB soundcard - S/PDIF in/out, 5.1 analog, mic

I am thinking about utilizing a USB soundcard to get rid of any chance of static, pops or cracks from my Via motherboard and I saw this on ebay:
    Generic 5.1 analog/digital USB soundcard

Has anyone seen this before or have any information on it? It seems to offer quite a lot as far as connections are concerned:
    S/PDIF out
    S/PDIF in
    1/8" mic in
    1/8" line in
    1/8"x3 5.1 analog out
I doubt it utilizes a 24-bit DAC and makes no mention of any technical specs but for under $30 shipped it might be OK.

For $30 I doubt it will be that great, but if you are willing to spend the money, it would be interesting to see what you think

Coming out of hong kong...I would look for another option. There are plenty of cars that would offer similar specs at only a few bucks more.
