Ford Taurus 1997 Wagon aftermarket radio install HELP

I Have a Ford Taurus Wagon 1997, no cd changer. The color of the speaker wires are not the same at the radio than at the speaker itself. I have found diagrams, and i am supposed to have an amp in the trunk or something. Any clue on how to know which wire is used for all different speakers. At the radio , theres a couple of harnesses, 3 of them are for the heater/AC etc... 2 of these are for the radio , I guess. Its a grey plug and a black plug. none of the wires color match with the speakers

scuse me for my bad english

    bye

    thanks

This forum is dedicated to CarPCs and installing them in your car.

The car audio forum is dedicated to integrating your car audio system with your CarPC.

For specific questions related to car audio equipment systems that do not include CarPCs, I would recomend checking out car audio specific forums:

    http://www.elitecaraudio.com
    http://www.carsound.com
    http://www.caraudioforum.com
    http://forum.sounddomain.com
    http://www.realcaraudio.com
    http://www.carstereo.com
    http://www.caraudiomag.com
    http://www.termpro.com
    http://www.the12volt.com
    http://www.talkaudio.co.uk
    http://www.caraudiosecurity.com
    et. al.

There is a chance that someone on here might have an answer for you, I would just hate for you to wait around for it when I know you could get an answer much quicker on a dedicated forum.

    Good luck.

Have you looked in the FAQ yet?
    How about the Wiki?

Under normal circumstances, a signature would go here.

I sent you a PM about this. If you are interested in installing a computer into the car, please feel free to search these forums for more help about doing that. If it's just about putting a new radio in to the car, a local audio shop would be a better place to turn.
