i believe you will need this, i think i remember someone saying that 1 side is center and the other is sub im not certain. id figure they just have a fullrange signal and a crossover would do the rest, i guess not.

How is the center and sub channel set up? I get no bass out of it to the subs and a bare minimum of sound through any other speaker connected to it. Is there a specific splitter cable I need to use it? If I use the 2 channel setting and run it through my RF symmatry dac it works, but using the 5.1 I ger fr/r but that is all. I have set the settings for bass redirection and such but no difference. Any help is appreciated.

Make sure you have cmss set to stereo and not surround.
You will probably have to adjust the gains on your sub amp. It has been reported plenty of times that the Live card seems to have a weak signal on the sub channel.
System always under construction
Is that cable just a 1/8 to rca? If so I already have 3 hooked up to it. I get no signal through it to the subs. I am setting up foobar2000 now and see if it is the creative sotware.
I know this is a something you have already done, but it never hurts to verify: have you switched the RCAs? And are you positive you have an adapter and not a Y-cable?
Like I said, obvious and you have no doubt already verified both of these, but never hurts to be sure (;
No that was why I asked. I have 3, 1/8 to rca adapter cables, converts 1/8 stereo to rca.. Is that one pictured some kind of a sub/center channel adapter?
Not a special one for just those two. Just splits the 1/8 to separate left/right channel rca (might be better to say channel 1/2 instead of left/right).
Was just an idea, that if you have a cable that is splitting the signal properly, you might switch the rca (in other words, it could be that your current setup has center channel signal going to subs and sub signal going to center channel). Probably not the issue, but worth checking out.
Hope this helps, am still very new to the subject myself,
no I did not mean anything by it other than if the cable was what I had already. I did not know if there was some kind of cable different than what I was using.
