Alpine Type R Subwoofer

Hi everyone, I'm a newbie. I was wondering if someone could help me out. I have an Alpine Type R subwoofer 12" (1242D) and an Alpine amplifier MRV-F540, can someone suggest the best way to wire this to the subwoofer?

Also, I noticed the subwoofer has four terminals on the back of it ? I thought speakers and subwoofers only have 2 terminals. How exactly do I connect these four terminals to sub enclosure, as the sub enclosure only has two terminals for connection ?

Sorry, I am not very good with car Audio stuff.
