using stereo USB

Guys -

I have a Kenwood Excelon KDC-X491

(http://www.crutchfield.com/S-pAZ7Z7H...1&i=113KDCX491)

in my car which has a USB input in it. It can play songs from IPODs and USB keys. I was wondering if there is a way to use this as an input from the laptop USB. I tried just connecting my laptop's USB to the stereo's USB but obviously it didnt work.

Won't work as your radio is a usb host, ipod etc are usb guests. As you may guess, a PC is also a usb host...
