i just bought 2 12" Alpine Type R subs...they are dual 2 ohm...i have a kenwood 1800 watt amp and will be pushing 900 watts at 2 ohms to each sub...which was sounds better when mounting, the regular way or reverse way?

What do you mean by the reverse way? Do you mean inverting the sub and having it downfire?
I don't really think it matters as long as your airspace is correct. If you are talking about making them fire down, you'll want to check to see if those cones will support that. Find a down firing calculator to see if they'll work.
I don't know if that's the question you were asking.
Mounting them magnets out give a little more air space, so it depends how the box is made. If it is a little bit smaller than optimal then mount magnets out, but if the box is the right airspace you should have no problems with it mounted regular if that is what your question is. Adding polyfill will help a smaller than optimal box too.
