    Creative Usb Works Great!!!

hello I have a creative usb audio apatoor that makes m car sound about 3000x better. very goos clear sound unlike the soundcard in the jetway 1.5 I have. (its sound like sheet) anyway this setup is perfect for me and I love it but the one problem is I get no popping from the stock sound card , but when the creative usb soundcard is attached it has this popping problem , how can i ground the sound car and do you think it will work?

constant popping while playing or just at startup?

Search for "turn-on pop" if it's just at startup. There are multiple ways to get rid of it. Are you running it to an external amp or to a headunit?

try putting the creative device on its own USB port, not through the a hub. External soundcards are USB-bandwidth hungry and don't like to share. That is what the popping is from. Sound like rice crispies, right?

What card is this?? Apatoor? Never heard of it. Is that the correct spelling? I thought I knew about most Creative cards.

wrap the creative USB soundcard up in foil. If its interference, it'll take care of it!

...Then boom when the foil shorts it out

Unless of course the Apatoor in question is already in its own protective case

I have a similar problem with my external extagy I think. At first I thought a small rock had hit the windshield. Does it sound like this? I don't have it very often though. Ones in a couple of days or so. So I don't really mind.
