    Hey man,

Drop ~ $650 bucks and get yourself a Elemental Design Nine.1 amp and one RE Audio SX10. End of story. Btw and .75 cents for some earplugs.

you have to qualify your statement at least. you can't just say 'end of story' what if he wanted pure sq? or pure spl? very hard to get both at the same time with the same equipment.

Stay away from Pyramid, Legacy, Pyle, Rockwood, Kenwood, Jensen, etc(the last 2 are the best of that list...and they still dont compare to any in the first list)

ALWAYS ignore the wattage numbers listed on the packaging and find the RMS wattage somewhere... Most manufacturers will list the PEAK wattage on the outside to grab your attention...it's just a marketing ploy...
wait a min. . . whats wrong with kenwoods? Theres no way they are as low as the rest in the second list.

meh, the NINe.1 is a current hog, id stay away.

id prefer a 12" atleast, its harder to get a 10" to play lower IMO.

BTW i had a 15" SX and a NIN.e1 combo, it did get loud, but i wouldnt use the NINe.1 again after using a real amp :P
