you have to solder the coax lead to the board where the wire is coming from then buy a coax/motorola adapter to connect the coax to your existing car antenna.
Just bought a silabs usb radio and have read on this forum that it is possible to graft on a co-ax aerial for better reception. Now my question is, is it possible to feed this aerial to the existing car aerial lead and use that,? my only query would be the exisiting connector on the aerial lead is not coax
hope i'm making sense
thanks
richard
