    Well I am using my laptop because I am getting a new one...and I really didnt want to spend $600 on an external processor...is there a digital sound card that will produce near the quality that one of these external processor would? Trying to get the best bang for my buck...all of my crossovers are controlled via the amps and are electronic so I was really just interested in dsp and good front sound stage.
    thanks

    Best bang for the buck and easiest to set-up would be to go with the Alpine 701 and an optical out from onboard sound.

    You can find a 701 for around $400 if you go second hand.

    The Behringer is the only other thing in the same price range.

    I cannot rightfully suggest anything else cheaper and feel comfortable doing so. If you want quality, you have to pay for it.

    What about the Audio Control Matrix line driver? One input out to 6 channels. Seems to be what you're looking for.

    Ok what do yall think, Ive narrowed my options to two choices:

    Rockford fosgate 3sixty.2 digital signal processor for about 300, I like this because I would be able to do all of my tuning from the carputer via the bluetooth connection. I just dont know about the sq of it. One of my concerns is I am running a left/right setup for tweets, midrange and midbass. I would have to put a y-adapter for my midbass.http://www.rockfordfosgate.com/produ...7&locale=en_US

    6-channel high-level input
    6-channel RCA level inputs (FR/FL/RR/RL/Center/Sub)
    Independent 31-band EQ for Front Left and Front Right
    Independent 27-band EQ for Rear Left and Rear Right
    27-band EQ for Center
    10-band subwoofer equalizer
    6-channel HP/LP/BP/AP adjustable crossover
    Up to 5 feet of delay per channel in 2 inch increments (subwoofer excluded)
    Auxiliary RCA input with 31-band adjustable eq
    Auto equalization with auto sum capability
    Digital Signal Processor with OEM integration capabilities (patent pending)
    Remote programmable master volume/aux volume control
    Wireless Bluetooth®

    or

    Clarion Drz-9255 for $550. Ive just heard alot of great things about this unit.http://clarion.com/us/en/products/20...912142959.html

    * Dual 24-bit / 96 kHz Sampling Digital-to-Analog Burr-Brown Converters and DSP

    * Built-In 4-Way Crossovers

    * 5-Band Parametric Equalizer

    * Digital Time Alignment for Each Line Level Output

    * 8-Channel/4-Volt Gold Plated Oxygen-Free Copper RCA Outputs

    * 0.5dB-Step Electronic Volume Adjustment Circuit

    * Copper Plated Chassis

    * External DC/DC Converter

    * CeNET Control of Optional CD Changer, TV Tuner and iPod Interface

    * Two 2-Channel AUX Inputs

    * Zinc Die-Cast Faceplate

    * Fiber Optic Input/Output

    * Vacuum Florescent Display

    * 18FM/6AM Presets

    * Remote Control Included

    So If yall could help me decide...Im sure someone has dealt with these units.

    how about the behringer unit and y the signal before the input. send a full range to the sub and use the amps internal x-over to dial in the sub then use the behringer for your front speakers?
