Here's my current setup:
Console for conencting all plugins
2x 31 band EQ (don't remember which one)
Frequency Allocator (Full)
4x Voxengo Delay
I have only used a little bit of EQing so far. i jsut used it to remove some peaking on the passenger side, but I really need to do more. So I have no answer on your EQ setup at the momment.
I read in the manuals for Allocator/Arbitrator, that it is best to focus on the low pass filters when setting up Arbitrator. I asked almost your exact question over in the Thuneau forums about slopes and gaps with arbitrator but I haven't seen any answer yet.
Also keep in mind that when trying to figure out what slope to use for Arbitrator, you need to use the elctrical slope+acoustic slope of the speaker. Really I just recommend experimenting unless you can measure and know for sure what kinds of slopes you are dealing with in the car.
I thought of another setup that would minimize plugins if you weren't going to use Arbitrator and wanted to use Allocator lite.
Console
2x any EQ
Allocator lite x2, one for left one for right.
By using allocator lite for each side, you can have independant phase inversion, time delay, level adjustment, and 4 band parametric EQ for each channel + whatever EQ you string it together with in Console.
Just some of my thoughts.
What kind of glith are you seeing with sweeps in arbitrator? There will always be some nulls and peaks in a cars frequency response. It's called comb effect or comb filtering.
I'm looking at experimenting with Convolver and Room Correction. Have you considered this at all?
