im gonna look into this. apparently using foobar with asio (i honeslty have no idea what it means) can eliminate issues with the voices being corrupted while using the kx drivers.
I've just found out there's a plugin for foobar2000 that emulates the winamp API and translates it to the foobar2000 API, its called foo_winamp_spam. Just google for it and you'll find it in the top links.
Since i don't have Roadrunner installed, i'm wondering if someone would like to try if it or if it's known already.

I'll have to try it out. Foobar2000 is so much better than winamp.
well if enough people voiced their opinion in the roadrunner forum, then it might be possible to use foobar without this extra added application. I know I have asked a few times myself in couple of threads, but it went un-noticed.
But now that rooadrunner no longer has to rely on winamp, i.e. FMOD player is also an option, then I'm not sure what would be needed to allow foobar to be used as well.

Oooohhh, YES, FooBar in Roadrunner would make my Day! Proper resampling and the other nifty features..
Maybe we could start a Thread with a running list of people who want Foobar in RR..
Ours is the age that is proud of machines that think and suspicious of men who try to.

Well I couldn't find th thread I thought was out there, but I found another recent one that had some not so good news.
Problems starting 9-2-07 version
So maybe this will be the only key for now. Has anyone tried it yet?

And software audio tuning.![]()
Well I just gave it a go on my desktop. Play, pause and stop seem to work fine, as well as exiting the program and resuming where you left off. Next track and previous track skip all over the play list, no rhyme or reason. It only displays the current track and just repeats that track in the play list. You can't add to the playlist at all. And foobar has to be loaded manually, which I kind of expected anyway.
Seems like this doesn't do the job.
I did use the beta version for foobar2000 0.9. I'm not sure if the old version for Foobar2000 0.7 and 0.8 would work any better.
