    Few small bugs... please help!!

Ok, so I got my sub up and bumpin in my Civic type R

Alpine type r 12 and pheonix gold amp, with some alpine mids in the back.
It pumps real nice, but I have a couple questions.

I tapped into the back speakers using the RCA/line converter.

For my remote wire I just put a small wire from my + pos terminal on the amp, stright into the remote term on the amp.

Now the light on the amp is constantly on, witch would be draining my battery while my car is parked right?

Also, when my car is off I can hear some mumbling or feedback kind of .. coming from my sub. Sort of popping noise.

Any idea how I can fix these two problems

    Thanks for the help!!

The Remote in on the amp needs to be switched 12v that goes off when the key is off..

DO you have a computer or after market Head Unit? If so then they should have remote outputs that are switched..

You can look in your fuse box and pull the 12V from the radio fuse and run it to the amp's remote turn on for a quick fix.. .
