    not loud carpc

    i had just recieved my carpc installed it with a creatice 5.1 exteranl usb sound card with the fronts snd rears from the sound card going to the perifials(i dont think i spelled that right) unit which changes it from rca to stereo which my stock harmon kardon amplifier can use. But no matter if i have everything cranked up all the way or not i cant get it to be loud

    Did you make sure the master volume on the pc is all the way up? Did you fiddle with the settings in the software for the sound card?

    did u change the gain on the stock amp? u might need to get an amp with gain control if the stock 1 doesnt have it.

    Is that the stock Harman Kardon of your car? Chanches are is't not a "real" amplifier but more like a booster meaning it uses High input levels from the car stereo and not Line input levels. Seen this before on some OEM car amplifiers.

    What car is it?

    Also, stock amps often expect different input voltage (e.g., Bose systems). You might need a line level converter.
