    Please help - 2005 freelander & ipod mess

    I have looked EVERYwhere, but cannot find a way to hook up an ipod to the stock 2005 Land Rover Freelander HU. No aux input adapters or direct interface products seems to be available to do this. Does anyone know how to do this w/o getting a new HU or using an FM modulator????

    What about taking an existing one for the '04 and hacking it up a bit? Does anyone know if this is even possible?

    why not try the Harman Kardon Drive + Play? Yes, i know it uses fm modulaion but i have tested it myself. It is in no way the ultimate solution for your carputer fix but it will let you navigate your Ipod on an external LCD that you can mount anywhere in your car. if you wire the sound it will be decent. Best Buy currently sells these things for about 70 bucks. Another 30 bucks will get you the in line FM modulator. I would recommend it to anyone that doesnt want to get their hands dirty.
