What kind of cables are you using to connect everything?
I have an amp hooked up and has power the works. But the subs are not doing anything. I've checked and re-checked all connections...Let me know if you have any ideas on what's wrong. Thanks

have you checked with a multimeter to see if it is actually outputting a signal to your speakers? if not, my guess would be that somehow you blew your subs

I have RCA cables from the head unit to the amp.
is there anything else hooked up to the amp other than the sub? If so is it working? If not, then I would hook something else up to those RCA cables and see if your getting any output. Alternatively you could hook something else up to the amp and see if the sub woofer turns starts working.
Certain head units have the sub RCA outputs turned off by default, you might have to grab the old owners manual and turn them on. I've had it happen before.
you wired the remote turn on to the amp turn on off the deck and not the power antenna, correct?

im having a problem with my RCA cables. everything is hooked up and the sub works. but the sub only comes on and works when only one of the rca cables are plugged in. if i plug both in then the protection light or whatever its called on the amp switches from blue to red and the sub doesnt work then when i unplug one of them it works again. does anybody know what might be causing this. if u do plz email me at gabrielkent1@aol.com or on myspace.com/gabekent77721 thx
