180 watts a piece
Ok, I have an amp that has the following specs:
# PWM Regulated MOSFET Power Supply
# Peak Music Power: 800 Watts
# Load Impedance Capability: 2~8 Ohm
# Continuous Power (4 ohm): 250W x 1
# Continuous Power (2 ohm): 360W x 1
I want to hook up 2, 4 ohm subs (250 Watts Nominal Power Handling) so that effectively makes it a 2 ohm system.
My question is this, with both subs connected to this amp and now 2 ohms, does that mean each sub is getting 360W or 180W?
I know this is basic but I got 3 different answers!
Thanks in advance
