    get rid of the cat5 cable and go buy the proper $10 version

    If all you've got is an s-video in, get a properly constructed cable to make the most of what you've got.

    Damn then im gona have to take apart my dash again! Oh well I need to hook up my other input neway for a camera. Ill wait til it warms up for that. I hope that fixes it.

    Yah and easier than taking out the old 10 guage and runing like 4 guage. If I do run new power wire its gona be huge so I can upgrade freely in the future.

    Running S-Video through Cat-5 is a bad idea. Are you using the twisted pairs as shielding? Even then it's still bad. It's not spaced for video frequencies even though someone has done it in a home for VGA I think.
