    Powering Center Speaker

i am planning on getting the Alpine SBS-05DC for a center channel speaker, and i was wondering what amp should i use to power it. the speaker is rated at 50 watts rms and it peaks at 150 watts. i was looking at the Alpine MRP-T220 for the amp to power the speaker, but i am concerned that i will overpower the speaker and blow it. bridged, the amp produces 140 watts rms. do you think this is a good set up or should i try something else?

Just go easy on the gain setting. Nothing wrong with a little headroom, otherwise use only one channel.

Second option, find yourself a smaller 25-35Wx2 amp.
