Please advice on weird headunit to amp ?

Hi i have a 2001 saab 95 , and if possible i would like to use the stck amp to connect my car pc to it rather than fitting new amps etc , the problem is the saam amp is either a pioneer or harmon kardon , and according to the info it uses a pro audio signal from head unit to amp like this

The low level signal between the head unit and the amplifier is not the common single ended (signal & ground) used in ordinary consumer audio, instead it is a balanced (signal+ & signal-) used in pro audio.

is there anyway of connecting my audio from my pc to this sort of amp? thanks

here is the amp connection diagrams , i am totally lost , do i need a sound card rather than using the onborad sound card ? any help is greatly app. , also i take it the line in connections are the balanced ones?

where did you read that it uses "pro audio" / balanced inputs?

balanced audio requires balanced cables (which have a shield wire surrounding two twisted signal wires). there are no shield wires in your harness, just a standard (+) and (-) for each input. if your harness is just individual wires all bunched up / wrapped up together (not in twisted pairs) then it is not balanced.

also, you can use onboard sound if you want, but a dedicated sound card will offer better sound quality.

    this is taken from info

The low level signal between the head unit and the amplifier is not the common single ended (signal & ground) used in ordinary consumer audio, instead it is a balanced (signal+ & signal-) used in pro audio. Attaching the new amplifier here requires an adapter.

technically its balanced, as the earth isnt connected to ground / shield, and other things too.

however to make use of that you would need to be supplying a balanced signal to the amps . if you dont supply a balanced or clean signal you may get an earth loop, so as they say there you will need to isolate it

just googled this its for home studio but might help explain things a bit better
