    Need radio code

    Hi All,

    Im very new to this so please be patient if I have missed something information wise or used different terminlogy but here goes..

    My battery died on my R Registration (1997) Jeep Cherokee (Grand)

    The chassis number is LJ46ZB858VY527860
    Also the (L) might be a 1-
    I need the radio code but i cannot find the manuals, Can anyone help me with the code, all the display says is 'wait' which i have been for a month!!

    I understand that if that isnt enough information please let me know, I can provide S/N or reg or Engine info,

    Thread moved. You should check other car audio forums. This one is about putting a PC in a car, not issues with OEM equipment.

    I would think that you would need to go to a dealer and ask for that info.

    Put the radio in a deepfreezer for a night and it will reset the code to the standard in some cases...but then you need to know the default code which I don't

    Good luck anyway, although a dealer is your best bet...
