    Mac mini with 2008 Toyo Highlander and massive engine noise

    I have just finished putting in my mac mini into my 2008 highlander. I am using the P1900 to power it and I have having huge audio hum issues. I would have assumed that the P1900 would have had a built in correction from this. I did check the ground and it is secure to the body of the car. I did not have any issues with it in my BMW 528i.

    Ideas?

    other info... I am using the alpine matching pair of monitors and it has an ipod connection built in and it works just fine...

    Turned out to be a bad cable for the mac mini. It's shielding must have gotten messed up somehow. But in the process I have seemed to kill my Alpine monitor somehow, at least one of them.
