    Fuse on the battery terminal?

    i have a 2004 mitsubishi lancer and im putting in an amp and sub for some extra bump. im good as far as the instal goes but i dont know what the fuse is for on the positive battery terminal. any ideas or thoughts?

    trace the wire off the back of the fuse and see where it goes

    my car has a bunch as well, do you need to remove it?

    or

    are you asking whats the point of putting a fuse on the battery for the wire you are feeding the audio gear with
