Yes, check it carefully, my VGA splitter was so specific that I had to use an inverter to power it. It would not work without using the original wall adapter.
I have a 7 port hub, and 3 touch panels are connected to it, plus one RF mouse and I never have issues, except sometimes the mouse will kinda lag sometimes, but not a big deal. I installed a special driver for the touchscreens that supports multiple touchscreens, so maybe thats why i have no issues.Originally Posted by 2k1Toaster
Dont use IR, I have a RF based handheld mouse and its awsome. I can be 30 feet away from the car and still use it. I also have three PS3 thumbpads and all have the same range. Go RF if possible.Originally Posted by 2k1Toaster

LOL, use the edit button, lol........... you can go to you local Office Max and buy the VGA cables. I think mine were 25 ft, which is wayyyyyyyyyyy to long, i had to have a panel just to store the extra cable.
Here is a good hub, http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicati...63068&CatId=48, I use this on my install, you will have to power it via external power.
I use this for the VGA Splitter http://www.cdwg.com/shop/products/de...px?EDC=1124661, it is as small as a pocket PC phone, but it has to be powered by an inverter.
The way i did mine is, I went to pep boys and bought a slim 100watt inverter, which is the size of a 2.5 HDD. It comes with one plug and one USB port. So what i did is plug the VGA splitter into the wall plug port, then used the USB port to power the hub.
