Thread: BMW X5 DSP / SB Live! 24 bit USB - S/PDIF?

Hi all,
I have been searching this forum (and the rest of the "internets") to confirm that my planned installation will work;
I am basing it on an AOpen MiniPC, a Xenarc 7" and a Sounblaste Live! 24bit External USB soundcard.

The plan is to connect the SB Live 24bit directly to the DSP amp.

Has anyone done a similar install, or can someone confirm that this should/should not work?

I do understand that I need to keep the amp alive with ibuscomm, but what worries me are hardware incompatabilities.
