    Factory stereo relocation

Years ago, while looking for an installation kit for a single din radio, I found relocation kits. I think they could be mounted under the dash in older cars without double din dashes. I have decided to move my stock stereo to permanently install my lcd in that location.

Does anyone know where I can buy this relocation kit? I have been searching for days. Is it called something else?

Just like that. However, I would need a double din model. Know of any like that?

    I don't think I've ever seen a double-din model. A quick Google isn't showing anything either. Sorry.

I would think a Double din under dash setup would sorta defeat the purpose, but thats just my opinion. You could probably make something that would work. Get a double din dash kit that will allow you to use a cage or some mounting system and make something out of fiberglass or similar material. Not sure what you drive but a double din might stick down pretty far below the dash, might hit your knees on it or something.

This is the setup I made for my truck, used a single dish dash kit mostly just to get the opening and then all fiberglass.
