Im in the process of installing a carputer in my 2005 Honda Accord LX. The car is all stock right now. Im eliminating the HU and plan on powering the speakers from a Kicker ZX700.5 amp.
The amp:
85 x 4 (2ohms)
70 x 4 (4ohms)
Looking for front and rear speakers. No sub for now. Nothing too pricey with good SQ. Would prefer not to drill for new speakers. What do you guys recommend
What are your goals? 5.1 or 4.1 system? what's your budget?
If you do not intend to use 5.1 surround sound I would suggest the following for 4.1 --
Have the head unit power the rear speakers and bridge the amp to 2channels to power your front stage. That will allow more power for your front stage.
