Depends on the motherboard. Some have that ability. Some don't.
I already have a solution which will work for me as regards sound, but as always I'm wanting to get the most from it if it's possible.
So on my mainboard I've got the usual 3 x 3.5mm sockets. I understand that I can run them in a quad speaker setup and run LF + RF from one and RR + LR from the other leaving the last one for my mic to be plugged into for phone and voice commands........
My question is, is it possible to configure this last socket to be both mic in and sub out ?
I'm figuring not from what I've read, but thought I'd ask.
As mentioned, I can always just set the sub at a reasonable level and have no PC based control, but I thought if there's a possibility then it would be nice.
Any help is much appreciated.
