Cheap audio solution for mic and sound

I am using the Andrea solution for mic and sound. I just wanted to let people know that there is a cheap and good solution for echo cancellation if you have centrafuse and want to use your phone. I have read a lot of people looking into wasting their money on the phoenix solo card. This has the audio output has great sound quality and the mic is just awesome. I use it for voice recognition with my one voice media center communicator. The call clarity is right on through centrafuse via bluetooth for phone calls. They just released the new usb interface so the bundle with their mic is only $50! I am using vista and it even works go figure. So here is the link for the bundle if you want. http://www.andreaelectronics.com/Buy...ray_bundle.htm
Their customer support actually helps you. They take a day or two to get back to you but they do help.

I've recently started looking into a mic so that I can do hands free in the car. Good to know about this option. What phone are you actually using?

Looking at this mic/external soundcard bundle, I am wondering how well this will work with my current internal PCI Soundblaster Audigy SE Soundcard? I just want to use the USB for my mic-in, and that's it. Will the noise/echo-canceling features work, while I am using my Soundblaster for all of my audio-out?

during testing stages on my home comp of different components i was using the mic on my webcam to test out centrafuse and bluetooth phone capabilty. the mic creates a very long delay and an echo. i was looking into this mic during the planning stages of my carpc system.. i kno this has noice canceling technology but are you saying it also defeats echo??

I have purchased this soundcard (andrea tech one) to use with the new centrafuse phone app.

I have set it to be used as the input device for phone...but the receiver (not me in the car) still seems to get an echo....and altho it is bearable when someone calls me, the setup isnt usable. this is really strange. anyone got any ideas?
