    Voice coil?

I have a Alpine 12" Type R and I mounted the sub with the magnet facing out side the box. My question is does the voice coil move when it like that. I cant tell if my speaker is doing its job. Thanks for any info

You mean you took the magnet off and put it on the other side of your sub box?!

I think he mounted it inverted.
