Hey, Im not sure if this is in the correct forum, but here's my question: I plan on installing a PC into my 03 CL. I am going to install the touchscreen in the stock radio location, thus removing the radio all together. Are there any cards I can install into my PC that has amp outputs (front, rear, and sub)? I did a quick search and all I can find is stereo outputs, not amp outputs. Im new to this, so please go easy on me with PC lingo.

all soundcards and dac's have preamp outputs. you may see them as 1/8" stereo mini jacks but you just get a stereo mini to rca cable and you're on you way. this information is in the faq's concerning how to hook up your car pc to your amps. stereo output simply means that they are left and right channels... they are still amp outputs

Whats the sound quality like when using those? Is there alot of noise?
it's more involved. depends on your installation, your soundcard, your amps and speakers. in general they are fine though

Ok. I'm most likely going to be running Infinity Kappa components and a JL 13TW5-3 subwoofer. Im leaning towards a Polk audio 5 channel subwoofer. I want something that sounds good, but isn't too overpowering and also takes up very little space. I've had experience with Infinity speakers, and I think for the money they are great. Which soundcard would you reccomend?

i can only recommend the ones i've dealt with. i've had good luck with a sb live 5.1 *with* kxproject drivers AND an audiocontrol linedriver/x-over. also the alpine h701 treated me very well. now i'm testing a relatively inexpensive option, a $70 usb dac... of course this is going to an external x-over, but if your amp has a good enough internal x-over you may not need one
