    More Wire or Distribution Block?

i have an 8-gauge wire running from the battery to the back of my truck. I need to power 1 800w amp for the sub and a 400w amp for the stock speakers, plus power the pc. Now, can i just use a distribution block for this or do i need to run more wire from the battery?

    A distribution block should work...
However, you might want to replace the 8awg with 4 or 2awg to handle the power for the amps.
Have you looked in the FAQ yet?
    How about the Wiki?

    I agree with DarquePervert.

If they are truly 800w and 400w amps, I would definitely recommend upgrading to at LEAST 4awg, to a distribution block, and then 8awg to each amp (minimum) and an appropriate guage for your other components that will be connected.
