Question USB Sound card help. I have searched ALOT!

Ok so I have searched ALOT and I have learned ALOT, but What im going to be doing is running a VroomPC style system about 2.0GHz, And this will be my HU, I love good sound! I have a total of 6 Speakers, two in the dash, two in the doors and 2 in the rear, and then One JL W7. My amps are Kicker ZX650.4 for the mids, and Kicker ZX1000.1 for the sub. Do I need a 5.1 Sound card? or 6.1? What will give me some good SQ and not take up to much CPU unless 2.0Ghz I dont have to worry about it? Im just looking for some Recemendations from you guys. All my mids are Componet Kicker. The amps have Crossovers built in and what not. So What do you all think????

How do you know that the onboard sound of your PC is going to be less than adequate for your listening?
I suggest saving your money until you know that the onboard sound does not meet your needs. For most, onboard sound is adequate.
    For some, it's insufficient.

You can save a few bucks and more than a few CPU cycles if you are content w/ onboard sound.
Have you looked in the FAQ yet?
    How about the Wiki?

for best sound quality you may want to use a USB DAC, but only available in 2 channels (stereo). But ... modern car amps have a line-out so you can route the signal from one amp to the other.

DAC's use very little to no CPU power

If u love good sound keep in mind that you might get some noise from the computer, hard drive or what not.
