what size fuses does it have..
sometimes that MAY give an indication to a ballpark number
Volts x Current = Watts
then minus about 30%,
so 13V x 30A = 390W x 0.7 = 250W (at a guesstimate)
I recently bought an amplifier from a friend. He says it's 500 watts RMS but I don't think so. There's no identifying marks on it, and there is no brand name on the back of it.
I was wondering if there's a way to test how much wattage is coming out of the amp so I'd know if it's working, and if it will be ok for my subwoofer.
My sub is 4ohm, single voice coil and can take 250 watts rms and 500 max.
I'm hoping this amp will fall somewhere inbetween that so I won't harm the sub.
If it helps at all, the amp says on the back 2ohm stable. But as I said, nothing else identifying it is there. It's for a car I know that much.
Would be much appreciated if help could be given quickly.
