HELP bass problems after i got my car out from the service

I own a Lilliput Blackstream TC-1000 carpc ...and i use usb creative audigy 2nx ...and after i got my car out from an auto service ...the sound changed...
I don't have the same bass...the bass sounds really bad, and i don't know why ..
Does creative audigy nx 2 has a incorporeted amplifier ...? maybe the amplifier died? ..because the bass is not strong ...and i bought a usb Creative Xmod ..but the bass is still ****ty.. I don;'t know what to do .
When i connect the audigy 2 nx sound card...and i press cmss button there are no changes ...does anyone can help me?

maybe the service guys were screwing around with your system, did you check your PC audio settings?

what does the USB sound card connect to for sound amplification?
-if it connects to a head unit, check the head unit's audio settings.
-if it connects to a single amplifier, check to make sure the HPF (high pass filter) isn't turned on.
-if it connects to multiple amplifiers, then make sure the subwoofer amplifier is on and is set to LPF (or FULL if you have another component controlling frequency cutoff).

Well the usb sound card is connected to the carpc amplifier (carpc VIA TC1000)..I don't have a separate amplifier so i use the one that came with the carpc (incorporated) ..so i don't have how to check the head unit amplifier because it doesn;t have any settings. And there;s no difference when i enable or disable cmss..plz help

What are your speakers connected to? You're not giving a very clear picture of how your system is set up. The carpc and usb sound card are your audio sources but those aren't used to power the speakers. Are you still using a factory/aftermarket radio?

Have you checked bass/treble in the creative console configuration menus (should be same place you check for CMSS... just a different tab).

OK...... so speakers have + and -......... sound card has Left and Right........ you see how this is a problem with what you are saying? The sound card doesn't even have the proper connectors for a set of speakers.

thats not true, his soundcard puts out left and right AND GROUND.
therefore for the left speakers you connect the left to the + and the ground to -
and for the right speakers you connect the right to the + and the ground to -

IMO, it sounds like someone may have cranked your system to the point of distortion and blown the speakers...... When a speaker "blows" it warps the copper surround that protects the coil (beneath the center) and when this happens you get metal to contact (slapping or rattling noise) that results in more distortion than normal. If not that, the bass will simply sound horrible. In my experience, a blown speaker can actually sound okay until it receives mid-to-sub bass frequencies. That's when it will tell on itself. Go back to the service place and take no prisoners....

Well i got my speakers out and they look normal ..there's nothing vizibile ...If my amplifier is broken ..the bass would sound ok? there's no vibrating bass no low bass ...only a normal bass like normal speaker ..
My mirrors are not vibrating ...like it used to ...it's like the bass has no power
i don't have the vibrating sensation that i use to have i don't know how to explain better ..and the guyes from the service didn't listen to music because the had no mouse and my carpc is set up to skip dvd player and go directily in windows so... they got my car battery out and that's all they did
